With a long history successfully supporting local, Texas based manufacturing companies with our precision water jet cutting operations, Aqua Power Cutting, Inc. was requested by an aerospace industry client based out of Schertz, Texas to produce replacement copper parts for a fuel air vent used within a military F-18 Hornet application. We employed our advanced, 60,000 PSI flow water jet system to cut this product's final dimensions. This component measured precisely 0.750 of an inch in overall length, 0.5 of an inch in overall height, and 0.023 of an inch in thickness. Each part also weighed approximately one ounce.

During production, our water jet cutting technology was able to hold precision tolerances of just (+/-) .005 of an inch, allowing us to construct these parts to meet exact client specifications while also saving hours of production time over more traditional cutting processes. This part was also built to withstand high altitude, high pressure operating conditions.

Meeting MIL-STD industry standards, Aqua Power Cutting, Inc. was able to successfully employ our precision water jet cutting technology to successfully manufacture a series of replacement copper parts for the aerospace industry. These units exceeded our customer's high expectations for quality.
