Based on our reputation for providing precision water jet cutting services, an aerospace industry client based in San Antonio, Texas contracted our company to manufacture a door flange used within the landing gear of an aircraft. Maintaining a tight (±) 0.005 of an inch tolerance, we employed our advanced 60,000 PSI flow water jet technology to cut this inconel flange to meet exact, client required final dimensions. The door flange measured precisely three inches in overall length, 1.5 inches in overall height, and .25 of an inch in thickness. The unit also weighed approximately four ounces. We also used standard micrometer measuring equipment to ensure that the flanges fulfilled all of our client's product requirements.
With our advanced water jet cutting machinery, we were able to save our client hours of production time over more traditional cutting procedures. In addition, the door flange was built sturdy enough to withstand difficult high-pressure and high-altitude operating conditions. With the ability to successfully manufacture precision parts using our advanced water jet cutting technology, we fulfilled client expectations for quality service within a relatively short turnaround period. |
